It begins innocently enough, but it quickly becomes clear that it’s a blaggard, and is on par with IWBTG/SMB in being evil.

Hmm, might I ask what inspired the new direction? Just curious, I always thought the swearing was a fun part of your charm. Still a fan and I still like the videos, just feels…weird, I guess. Not saying the swearing made such a massive difference that I would stop watching without it but with it you sound so natural and without it a lot of your speech seems forced because you’re trying to tiptoe around words. I just miss that unapologetic charm : P.
Thanks for the vids man, keep up the good work, I’ll still be here to watch and support!
woo! Super excited for this!
I’ve never heard of this game before, but if it’s in the same vein as Super Meat Boy then this is going to be very interesting indeed. =]
Okay, so far, after watching half of Part 1, “hell”, “damn”, “God damn it” and “twat” apparently do not qualify as swearing. So, I’m curious, what restrictions does the “no swearing”-rule actually impose? Except for the omission of “fuck”, your vocabulary doesn’t seem to be all that different ;-)
Okay, I just continued watching until minute 18, and now you’re just sewaring more than before, not less :P
[...] to what i actually was gonna tell you guys! He just released a new video you can go check out here. It’s a game called “Bloody Trapland” and it’s a game that is very similar [...]
Lost it laughing about the BAR exam for gaming rules and regulations. On a side note, OTG needs to make a documentary on exactly what the terms are for “what does and doesn’t count.”
Surely this is a new breed of HTSF, one in which the S could maybe even exist. “How to Safely Fail,” oh ho ho. I must say, you have some strange tastes when it comes to what counts as a swear and what does not. Some are indeed curses, but never would I have imagined ‘piss’ to be among one of them.

Damn the early submission of messages, may they battle Ranger in hell. To close, it’s very much good old HTSF none the less. Only moderated, and if anything, the moderation adds that whole new spin amusing spin on it that you were looking for. Not an everyday HTSF occurrence to be sure as you’ve said over the SB, but a path worth traveling nonetheless.
- Duplo/cequia (PS, for some reason WordPress is acting funnily when attempting to be logged in under, something perhaps to check out when updating the site)
It would seem the Quake drip elicits more than just fear of the unknown. It also brings forth the OTG of years gone past. See part 3, 6 minutes in, and listen closely for further details…

Actually, it’s dropped twice starting from 5:55 or so, whoops! In Flamehaschannel’s words, HTF test, failed (as the name should have given away).
Erm….Doesn’t twat count as swearing? XD
If you like the idea of rushing forward yet still doing it perfectly, OTG, maybe you should get into speedrunning ;) I’m sure speeddemosarchive.com would love someone with your commentating skills, too.
Hey OTG, at Part 3 around 6:23-6:25, I think you swore lol.
You, sir, are a literary genius, and I applaud you.
Hehe, “Quake drip”. I love it.
I experienced that some years back, though it would’ve been “Soldat drip”.
Dude, I have to be honest: you’re hamming it up a bit, and it detracts. Has something happened that you find your usual style inadequate? Is the game not good material for a playthrough? Has some effect of experience made it harder to be natural and enthusiastic? Do you feel obligated? Seriously, if that last one, then don’t, really. Don’t give a fuck about us. Obligation ruins whatever it touches, be it a relationship or an endeavor. I know I’m being a presumptuous ass for saying that like it’s the cause, as you may just be in the process of expanding your repertoire, but I sometimes really fear for Let’s Players, and thus, for you, because with success come the powerful tendencies, the INSIDIOUS tendencies, toward obligation and overthinking and insincerity.
But regardless of the cause, I would rather you know by response that something isn’t working especially well, instead of by silence.
Sorry if I offend.
no offense taken at all dude, I welcome honest opinion.
I know exactly what ya mean, and I made sure the remainder of trapland is nothing like the first episode (back to HTSF).. it was fun doing an episode with almost an entirely different vocab to normal, but as ya say, it didnt feel/sound completely genuine.
it was honestly downto the changeup of not swearing and going overboard a bit (a lot) with it, and no other factors like obligation/etc :]
I couldn’t guage for myself whether dropping swearing was a good idea, so when something like that happens, I throw an experimental video out and use the feedback.. the feedback here/from Claire was solid and as I said, I’ve dropped the idea now.
